Secret Diary of an average Teenager

Well I know I said that this was going to be a music blog, but then I realised that it would be boring to talk just about music and I would run out of topics pretty fast so I have decided to transform my blog into an online journal. I will be posting my opinions about things and of course I will still be uploading about music but just not as much. I'll try my best to write occasionally but I do get busy doing other things like my schooling plus I'll be making up my own daily schedule so my day plans out better. Well my first post is about my city and how it has a bad reputation. Even though the city does have a bad part (I've seen it first-hand), it also has hidden beauty that not many people can see.

Wollongong itself is a beautiful sea-side city located about an hour away south of Sydney. Many people see Wollongong as an 'eye-sore', and yes, I was one of those people but I realised Wollongong will always be my home, I grew up in the Wollongong region and I still live in the Wollongong region. Part of the problem is our council who keep delaying things so Wollongong never has anything new happening. A couple of years ago, I saw an article in the newspaper about how Wollongong would of looked like by now if the council let the developments happen and I tell you, Wollongong would of looked like a billion dollar city. Along with that problem, you also have to pay for parking at our beautiful city! Everyone just heads further down south to Shellharbour which has a bigger mall and free parking.

I do not live in the city but in a suburb of Wollongong. I like the suburb I live in because it's peaceful and no trouble-makers roaming the streets, although we get the occasional idiot who thinks is it ok to set a car on fire and leave it in the middle of the road (this was trend and even happened to our own car!). The worst car fire I have seen was one just about two houses down, we could hear big bangs it happened at around 3am and yes there was a car speeding around like a maniac just 2 - 3 minutes before so it's obvious who did it.

Well enough of the negativity. I love our backyard because We seem to be attracting a lot of pretty birds at our house lately. I love the Rainbow Lorikeets the best. We have no idea what the other big bird is though, we think it's maybe an owl of some sort. The Lorikeets make a huge mess when they get the seeds out of these plants and then drop the sticks all over the concrete below but it's worth the mess to see these beautiful birds. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and I promise to write something more interesting in the coming week or so.

Not a obsessed murderer, I'm an obessed music fan

Well I have decided to create this music blog.. I love music which inspired me but the person who inspired me most is my older sister Melissa who told me she herself made her own music blog on this very same blogging website. I consider myself music obsessed, which is where the name of my music blog came from. I will be doing song reviews, tour dates and track-listing, reviews for new albums (and old ones), plus a track by track review. I'll also be doing a 80s, 90s and early 00s flashbacks which is where I post a review about my favourite song from the past every
friday night. I'm so excited guys!

I'll first introduce you to myself so you guys know who I am. Well, my name is Tiara and I'm 15 years old (27/03/98). I was born in Australia and I am still located in Australia, I live in New South Wales about an hour south from Sydney. I really love animals, music, reading and dancing like a maniac. My favourite music artists would have to be Demi Lovato, Eminem, Secondhand Serenade, Ellie Goulding, Katy B, Little Mix and many more artists but it will take years to list them. The girls in that picture ^ are Little Mix. I really like them because their songs have a 90s feel but they still manage to keep them modern and fresh as well. I really love their clothing style aswell so I'll be posting pictures of that too.

Well lets start with my first post about music. I was messing around with my iPod Touch and decided to listen to some music, but as I looked down at my music tubs I notcied a tab saying ''Radio'. I thought too myself that maybe it was there all along but I just haven't notcied it but to my surprise it only just came out in Australia and America a few days ago. I love this feature because you can stream albums that have just being released, and so much more. Just like spotify, there is a number of different ''stations'' you can listen too which continuously play songs so be sure to check it out because it could be a useful feature for people who are wanting to discover new music and artists.

Well this is all I'm going to write for tonight.
I'll be also writing my favourite song line at the end of each post. Most of the songs I listen too, I relate too.

Song lyric ''I push all my problems to the back of my brain
A darkness deep inside where I just can't find my way'' Katy b
